If you're searching for a long-term career in a company that offers competitive pay, full benefits, and a welcoming environment for you and your family, this may be the opportunity you've been waiting for.Lead Welder essential duties and responsibilities Pay: $20.00-$24.00/hr DOE + benefits and OT Oversee shift startup and team assignments based on production needs. Review previous shifts' output for quality, quantity, and product labeling. Ensure safety, cleanliness, and adherence to company policies (tool requests, setup, safety practices, scrap tagging, etc.). Provide technical support and training to team members. Report significant production delays or quality issues to the Manufacturing Manager. Encourage cross-training among staff when possible. Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings, including weld symbols. Proficient in assigned welding techniques and use of precision measuring tools. Knowledge of filler materials for steel, aluminum, and exotic alloys. Set up and maintain welding equipment (amps, volts, etc.). Perform process inspections, certification, and documentation. Maintain welding equipment and improve production processes. Train and assist other welders, including finish grinding with manual/power tools. Follow ISO standards and all safety procedures.Lead Welder education and/or experience Five years related experience and /or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience. High school diploma or GED preferred and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
