Senior Accountant

Job Title: Senior AccountantResponsibilities:- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.- Develop and enforce financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets.- Generate and present financial reports on a regular basis, including analyses on labor, COGS, and operating expenses.- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support decision-making processes.- Ensure accurate and timely regulatory reporting in compliance with accounting principles.- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support cross-functional initiatives.- Manage account reconciliations, audits, and tax filings.- Assist in preparing federal and state income tax returns.- Oversee accounts payable, purchase orders, petty cash, and employee expense reports.- Develop, implement, and maintain effective internal control procedures.Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial management, with at least 1 year in an accounting supervisory role.- Strong financial acumen with expertise in financial report writing, double entry bookkeeping, and account analysis.- Proficient in financial software systems and advanced Excel skills for data analysis.- Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements and payroll processing.- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with internal teams and external stakeholders.recblid uio63gt4jznw5j53p4ktbpambcivhh
