Job Responsibilities

The purpose of the Administrative Coordinator I is to attend to the daily administrative needs of the agency and its Multicultural Affairs and Outreach Division.

Responsibilities of the Administrative Coordinator I:

Provides general and specific administrative assistance to the agency's leadership and Multicultural Affairs and Outreach Division, such as conducting research, drafting documents, creating presentations, and other associated functions.Assists with community outreach endeavors on behalf of the agency and its Multicultural Affairs and Outreach Division.Performs standard management support activities for the agency's and division's respective programs and operations, such as records maintenance and organization.Conducts complex special assignments and prepares and maintains specialized reports and records.Establishes and provides consultation on administrative policies and procedures.Coordinates personnel activities and serves as a resource on personnel policies and procedures.Other duties as assigned.Minimum and Additional Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

A high school diploma and relevant experience in public administration and administrative services.An associate or bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required work experience.Applicants indicating college credit or degree(s) on the application will be required to bring a copy of college transcript to the interview. A copy of the transcript may also be uploaded as an attachment to the application, if required by the hiring department or if desired by the applicant. Please note that some areas of the Agency may require an official, certified copy of the transcript prior to hiring or within a specific timeframe required by that area, after hiring.
