As a GE Appliances’ Financial Analyst – SmartHome & Energy Solutions and Recreational Living, you will partner with the Operating teams to improve overall profitability, drive improved visibility into financial results, and highlight growth opportunities. This position will be the Financial Analyst for the SmartHome & Energy Solutions microenterprise as well as Recreational Living Solutions (RLS), which is a separate legal and business entity located in Elkhart, IN.

How You'll Create Possibilities
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
RLS Responsibilities Include:
Integrate monthly financial results into the GE Appliances parent ledger and maintain a separate ledger and processes for the separate legal entity.
Create, implement and operationalize standard financial operating policies to maintain rigorous financial controls for the stand-alone legal entity.
Collaborate with Pricing Team to Manage RLS Pricing to the OEM and Aftermarket RLS customers
Collaborate with Shared Services to Manage legal entity cash flow to include forecasting, reconciliation, and communication.
Lead financial estimating and planning processes that must be coordinated between GEA Parent entity and RLS legal entity.
Ensure proper financial controls and processes are in place for $3M direct material inventory in Elkhart warehouse.
Manage P&E assets in Elkhart, to include creation of assets, depreciation and inventory.
Perform NPI Financial Modeling of all RLS specific programs
Conduct annual inventories of direct materials and plant and equipment assets.
Coordinate Late Point ID Costing from Elkhart warehouse.
Smart Home & Energy Solutions Responsibilities Include:
Actively manage connection rate reporting for all GEA Products
Continue to evolve the digital product sales, booking and reporting.
Work with operating team to develop models for the Net Zero Home business initiative to include how will GEA generate revenue and proper revenue recognition.
Provide financial support in all major business planning activities (LTP, budgeting, short range outlooks (SRO), etc.) as well as other special projects, and ad hoc analysis.
Support launching new physical Smart Home Energy Solutions products such as Kitchen Hub, Leak Detect, etc.
Manage estimating and reporting of all Econ-Revenue that is generated by SHS.
Manage sales and reporting of Software as a service: Smart HQ Pro (Smart HQ Service, Smart HQ Management and Commercial Laundry).

Strong analytical skills
Strong systems skills, i.e. Excel, Access, Oracle, Hyperion, OBIEE
Educational and Experiential Background
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
Minimum 3 years Finance experience
Preferred Education/Experience
FDP or MBA graduate
Treasury, AP and AR Experience preferred
Salesforce/Accounting Seed experience preferred
Working Conditions & Travel Requirements
Working conditions are typical for an office environment.
20% ongoing travel; Occasional conferencing and/or external training attendance may be required at times.
