Position Summary:

You will be joining the Agency MBS trading desk with a developing TBA, Specified Pool, and MBS trading team and sales force. This is a growth-oriented business with seasoned MBS professionals.

Responsibilities:Bid and offer for TBA and Specified PoolsManage payup/ IR risk of 2-3bln bonds, optimize hedging activityAssist e-trading on tradweb/Bloomberg and other platformsRun valuations on daily trading activity and update the color databaseWork closely with sales on customer axes / market colorCultivate client and originator relationships - travel as necessaryWork closely with internal risk partners (credit risk, market risk, model risk)Provide relative value ideas/commentary for salesforce distribution both internally and externallyQualifications:

Proven track record as a market maker in MBS dealer-side/sell-side hedged book (Ideally 7-10 years of experience)Experience in managing and hedging Agency specified pool positions (10/15/20/30 year sectors) through volatile marketsExperience trading G2 pools with Overseas accounts mainly JapanStrong buy-side/sell-side and originator relationships for sourcing paper for distributionStrong multi-tasker with attention to detail and a good communicatorWorking knowledge of Yield Book or other OAS models to evaluate risk metrics and scenariosBachelor's Degree in relevant Subject Area i.e. Finance, Mathematics/Statistics, EngineeringBonus - some basic CMO structuring skills

The typical base pay range for this role is between $275K - $343K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
