As a Food Expeditor at our company, your main duty will be to keep the efficient workflow between the kitchen and the tables.
You will work in a fast-paced environment so your goal will always be to get proper orders in a timely manner.
Essential Job Functions
:
Plan and manage the order flowMake sure that all the orders are prepared in timeAssist and manage the final preparation of different food and dishesControl and oversee dishes before they leave the kitchenEnsure adherence to all relevant quality and sanitation rules and regulationsProvide assistance in cleaning activitiesServe as a contact point for the kitchen and the wait staffTake care of customers with special needs and requestsEnsure excellent client serviceGive suggestions for the improvement of the restaurant's offerings and reputationExecute a variety of different tasks as needed in accordance with managers requests and directionsEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
1year of experience as food expeditor or similar positionIn-depth knowledge of all relevant health and safety guidelines and regulationsHands-on experience with a variety of kitchen equipment toolsCritical thinker and problem-solving skillsTeam playerGood time-management skillsGreat interpersonal and communication skillsA client-oriented mindsetPreferred:
Bi-lingual a plus
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.
