Job Description
OVERVIEW
The SVG Finance team is growing and we want you to be a part of it! We are currently hiring for a Senior Financial Analyst to be a key part of our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team. If you are passionate, driven, and looking to grow you career in strategic finance this is the role for you.
This person will work a flex/hybrid schedule in our KC location.
Key responsibilities will include data analysis, financial forecasting, financial modeling, and financial reporting, with a focus on Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) that drive SVG's financial outlook. Additionally, you'll work with the variable compensation team; assisting in annual compensation plan design and improving monthly processes. You will also be able and willing to handle other ad-hoc requests directed to the FP&A team, with the ability to own and develop analyses from beginning to end independently.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related degree program OR relevant work or military experience 3-5 years' experience in FP&A or Business Intelligence/Analytics, including financial forecasting and financial modeling, academic experience included. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required, including advanced modeling ability Exposure to relational databases required, SQL preferred Understanding of business problem solving Capable of working both independently and as part of a team Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills Must be able to work onsite as needed in our KC location Additional Information
