As a member of ReliaQuest's financial planning & analysis (FP&A) team, you will build and contribute to a critical function at RQ, helping to guide the company on its continued high-growth trajectory. In this hands-on, highly visible role, you will support a key analytical function of the company and provide insights to support optimal business decision making at all levels of leadership. You will look at the company's key performance indicators (KPIs), operations and finances with a critical eye and introduce actions for improvement, serving as a true partner to the business.

The FP&A function will provide financial visibility and support to senior management, including supporting analysis and reporting for board presentations, quarterly financial presentations, industry / peer group comparisons, new business initiatives, financing activities, analysis of acquisitions and other ad hoc projects.

This is a fully in-office role allowing you to collaborate and build relationships with all key stakeholders.

The everyday hustle:Partner with the Finance organization to review and develop strategies for the overall growth of the company and evaluate and advise on short- and long-range integrated financial and operational planningPartner across other areas of the business, with the ability and willingness to be hands-on and dive deep into the detailsTactically analyze and strategically assess the company's financial and operational needsProvide financial analysis and guidance on activities, plans, targets and business drivers to department leaders and company managementSupport strategic business decision making through financial modeling and analysis including ad hoc modeling and analysisDrive predictability in planning, forecasting, and reporting; constantly improve accuracy by understanding the underlying business drivers, challenging assumptions and solving problemsEnhance and maintain operational and financial KPIsMaintain and continuously enhance the company's detailed short- and long-term financial forecasts, requiring you to systematically and on a regular basis:

Analyze actual financial results and key performance indicators in detail and compare them against the forecast and prior period results, identifying the underlying reasons for variancesLead discussions with business and functional leaders to:Succinctly communicate your analysisUnderstand the business context for financial results and the evolving needs of the businessTranslate financial insights into actionable operational recommendationsGather up-to-date inputs for the forecast from multiple sourcesDiligently address any questions and requests for follow-up analysisHold yourself accountable for the accuracy, precision and integrity of the financial forecast and all other analyses and establish a high level of credibility

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or economics2-4 years of relevant work experience in roles with a focus on financial analysisAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial modeling, including scenario analysis and the ability to manipulate, analyze and interpret dataStrong grasp of financial accounting and the relationships between financial statementsIntellectual curiosity and the ability to think creativelyUnderstanding of the linkages between business operations, key performance indicators and reported financial resultsUnderstanding of GAAP vs. non-GAAP reportingAbility and eagerness to deliver results in a lean, rapidly changing, hyper-growth environment that requires you to:
