Overview:

Hybrid Schedule (2 days in office and 3 days remote)Community Medical Services (CMS) is hiring a Staff Accountant responsible for recording a variety of accounting transactions and journal entries throughout the month as well as at month end, preparing and maintaining monthly account reconciliations including analyzing, reviewing, researching and resolving discrepancies, and providing monthly variance analysis. This role is also responsible for communicating and collaborating with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements. Qualifications:

Education, Certification and Experience RequirementsBachelors Degree in Accounting/Tax/Finance or equivalent job experienceCPA license a plus, but not necessary3+ years previous accounting experience required including GL accounting experienceStrong working knowledge software applications in Microsoft 365Experience with Intacct or other similar multi-entity integrated accounting software preferredExperience with accounting processes, journal entries, allocations, and accrualsAccuracy and attention to detail with numbers and quantitative skillsSelf-motivation and desire to expand knowledge with on-the-job trainingPossess integrity and ethical character with a clean financial backgroundUnderstand and support the confidential nature of the position and all related functionsPossess exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, including ability to articulate recommendations in a concise and timely mannerAbility to quickly prioritize among numerous tasksAble to analyze, organize, summarize, and articulate financial informationDetailed and organized to allow for quick and accurate data gathering and analysisThe ability to use a phone, computer, printer, and copier is required.The ability to use the internet and various web browser software is required.Manual dexterity using a calculator and computer keyboard.Requires prolonged sitting, standing, frequent bending, stooping, or stretching associated with a normal office environment.Frequent and prolonged typing and operation of computer, keyboard, and telephones required.Requires occasional use of fax machines, telephones, copiers, and other office equipment.Employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.#CRPSF
