Wireless Network Engineer

Exciting long-term contract with a great company. Must be a US citizen and able to pass a CJIS background check. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement Cisco enterprise wireless solutions to ensure optimal performance and coverage. Migrate infrastructure to new anchor controllers, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption. Support the onboarding of new offices by establishing and configuring wireless networks. Configure new Cisco DNA Center (DNAC) in AWS and migrate existing devices to the new DNAC platform. Monitor and troubleshoot wireless network issues, providing timely resolution and support. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Perform routine checks on network performance, identifying and addressing potential issues proactively. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of new wireless solutions with existing infrastructure. Document network configurations, changes, and performance metrics for compliance and reference. Provide user support for connectivity issues, including training and resources on wireless network usage. Stay current with Cisco technologies and best practices in wireless networking. Preferred Experience and Attributes: Proven experience in designing and managing Cisco enterprise wireless networks. Strong knowledge of Cisco DNA Center, anchor controllers, and AWS configurations. Familiarity with network security practices and protocols. Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex network issues. Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and end-users.
