About This OpportunityResponsibilities:Job Summary:Responsible for supporting the monthly cigarette and tobacco accrual reconciliation, vendor allowance invoicing and collection process, and other ad-hoc projects.Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for the reconciliation of cigarette and tobacco vendor funded cost support accrued receivableDaily review of cash receipts and application to open invoicesPrepare General Ledger Account ReconciliationsPerform account research and analysis to determine trends and drive resolutionDevelop an understanding of processes and implement improvementsCollect on open receivables and resolve customer disputesIdentify uncollectable receivables and estimate amount for reserveResearch and resolve inquiries from stores and field operationsAd-hoc projects
Qualifications:Education and Experience:Bachelors/4 Yr. Degree2+ years experienceSkills:Working knowledge of accounting procedures and conceptsSolid analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsSelf-starter who takes ownership to driving resultsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and independently manage multiple prioritiesProficient with Microsoft Excel formulas and functionalityComfortable with large volume of data
