Our client, a prestigious financial services company Is looking to add a Senior Accountant (Structured Funds) with corporate accounting experience to their team . Please only apply if you meet below requirements

Requirements•Batchelor's Degree Finance or Accounting

At least 3+ years in accounting experience specifically:

o Completing account reconciliations

o Producing full set of stand alone+ consolidated finance statements•ADVANCED Excel - there will be an assessment•Ability to work is a very complex environment

3+ years extensive experience:•Preparing journal entries and updating workbooks for monthly, quarterly, and annual close•Completing account reconciliations, financial statements, and other analyses to support our monthly close, consolidation and external reporting requirements.•20 days close. Complex, 120 entities for the entire company- individual will be responsible for a group ~10

Responsibilities•Managing a variety of workflows and processes for multiple s Structured Funds entities, including:

o Preparing journal entries and updating workbooks and schedules for period-end close for several tax equity funds and subsidiaries within our development business.

o Producing a full set of stand-alone and consolidated financial statements for several funds.

o Producing ad-hoc reports per the request of the Asset Management and Development teams on an ongoing basis.

o Booking cash transactions, both routine and complex, related to the acquisition, financing, and operations of the funds and projects.

o Assisting in the accounting and reporting research to analyze significant and/or complex non-recurring transactions.

o Completing account reconciliations, financial statements, and other analyses on a periodic basis to support our monthly close, consolidation and external reporting requirements.

o Working closely with the Asset Management and Development teams to reconcile project budgets to actual spend.•Innovating to create process efficiencies and optimize our use of available systems and technologies.•Assisting with development, refinement, implementation, and documentation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls related to the corporate accounting, reporting, and tax function.•Supporting the team in accounting research, writing technical memos, and documenting policies and procedures.
