Our client, a well-known and reputable Non-Profit is looking to add an Senior Accountant to their team. They are looking for someone who can start immediately!

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance (Accounting preferred). Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or Master's Degree preferred.3+ years relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Knowledgeable of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost control principles and internal control principals including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections; knowledge of short and long-term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets and product-line profitability analysis.Responsibilities•Analyze and interpret accounting and operating information relating to all aspects of the business.•Handle month-end close processes including preparing monthly journal entries, reviewing results, and preparing supplemental reports with attention to detail and accuracy.•Support financial analysis and statement preparation.•Work closely with the Accounting Manager and other department managers to appraise operating results in terms of profitability, performance against budget, and other matters bearing on the fiscal soundness and operating effectiveness of the company.•Operate with a high degree of professionalism, commitment, urgency and accountability.
