Requisition #: 73551 The Role at a Glance We are excited to bring on a Retirement Sales Consultant to our Retirement Sales Distribution Division to work in our Radnor PA office or in a remote environment. We are looking for motivated individuals to help us grow our full service Defined Contribution and Stable Value Investment Only (SVIO) product offerings. In this role, you will provide detailed information regarding Lincoln Financial Group's retirement solutions for medium and large retirement plans. You will interact with retirement plan consultants, plan sponsors, and internal teams here at Lincoln to put forth the best offering to identify and establish new business opportunities. What you'll be doing + You will act as a resource on DC and SVIO products, as well as industry related data for external and internal stakeholders + You will build and maintain strong business relationships with key sales clients to meet or exceed established sales goals, quotas, targets or objectives + You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the proper processing of all sold products from time of sale to issuance + You will develop and maintain a strong understanding of LFG's products, services and operational structure to enhance ability to identify and target sales growth opportunities + You will identify new advisors/consultants and makes proactive calls to prospective plan sponsors and intermediaries to generate RFP's and/or appointments + You will manage the sales cycle (including but not limited to; generating the proposals, preparing for finalist presentations, and getting answers to unresolved issues/questions) which often lasts 6-12 months + You will work closely with external sales stakeholders to generate requests for proposals, assists in preparing for finalist presentations, and follows up on unresolved issues to win new business What we're looking for Must-haves + 1+ years' experience in retirement plans or financial services + 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 yea To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
