Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Regular and Consistent Attendance Analyze financial data and use financial models for budgeting and forecasting. Prepare discount cash flow analysis for Capex projects, using key performance indicators such as rate of return and payback period. Understand and review the three main financial statements: Cash-Flow, Income Statement and Balance Sheet to help identify key areas of financial focus. Support the monthly close by providing actual v budget reconciliation analysis to assist financial managers in understanding their financials. Prepare the monthly Financial Results Analytical Pack – a KPI driven auxiliary report used to identify key areas of focus for the management teams. Knowledge of data modelling fundamentals (dimensions, fact tables, measures, hierarchies). Knowledge of general accounting nomenclature (ledger accounting, financial periods, business units). Education/Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Financial Analytics, Business Analytics, Accounting and/or Finance; or two or more years of experience in corporate data/financial analysis, analytics, or statistical analysis. Experience in presentation of data strongly preferred.

Language Ability:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Math Ability:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills:

Experience using advanced Excel features is strongly required. Experience working with a variety of information systems and data files and transforming raw data into finished products required. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and general ledger software and/or Financial Planning software is preferred. Familiarity with SQL queries preferred.
