Welder/fabricator

Our client in Erie, PA is searching for a Welder/Fabricator at their facility.Job Description:- Set up and operate machine tools in fabrication shop setting to fulfill customer requirements- Develop, layout, and plan sequence of operations- Fabricate and assemble variety of metal products- Perform basic welding and press duties- Use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers on daily basis- Perform basic machine maintenance and adhere to all machine safety requirements- Program machining centers and robotic weldersJob RequirementsJob Requirements:- Prior metal fabrication and/or welding experience- Knowledge of lifting procedures and rigging- Knowledge of wire filler materials applications for steel alloys, aluminum and some exotic materials- Basic math skills are required - working with decimals, fractions, and percentages- Ability to accurately use measuring tools (micrometers, calipers)
