Summary/Objectives

Maintain business relationships, projecting a positive bank image. Accountable for the identification of risk inherent in loan transactions and communication of that knowledge. Participates in the annual financial review of existing commercial customers. Examine evaluate and authorizes or recommends approval of customer applications for lines of credit or extensions of lines of credit, commercial loans and commercial real estate loans. Ensure compliance with all consumer regulations related to the job function. Adhere to regulatory changes, compliance issues and bank policy and procedure.

Essential FunctionsInterviews applicants to determine loan requirements and gather pertinent information for application.Responsible for a portfolio of existing commercial loan and deposit customers including renewals, modifications, collections and portfolio monitoring.Develop new commercial loan and deposit relationships through ongoing networking including client meetings, attending community events, and calling on center of influencesServe as a leader by example and center of influence within the market servedBe a Mentor to other lenders, provide assistance when neededAssist in the organization of new deposit accounts and treasury management servicesPrepares financial proposals for client review and consistent with the bank's credit risk toleranceEvaluate credit requests and recommend appropriate loan structure to manage riskEstablishes, negotiates and approves loans within specified limits or refers to loan committee for approval.Achieve sales goals as detailed in annual reviewImplement and execute Pathfinder Bank's strategic plan as assignedReview and execute all loan closing documentationEnsure timely loan closing and loan funding

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four year college or university, and 5-10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodical, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations.Ability to write reports business correspondences, policy and procedures.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, rations and proportions to practical situations.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.Driver's License.

Salary Description

$140,000-$180,000
