Job Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in analyzing, designing, and optimizing sales compensation plans and provide strategic support for complex sales deals driving revenue growth through effective compensation strategies and strategic sales support initiatives aligning with our financial goals and ensuring compliance with GAAP revenue. The ideal candidate will possess a strong financial acumen, expertise in sales compensation analysis and risk management with the ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Finance, Operations and HR teams to provide insights, support decision-making, optimize our QTC process for efficiency and profitability, and drive financial performance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Sales Compensation Analysis:Evaluate and analyze current sales compensation plans, including commissions, bonuses, and incentives.Develop and document processes and procedures for the administration and communication of sales compensation plans.Learn sales strategies for stakeholder groups; Recommend and implement improvements to optimize sales performance and alignment with business objectives.Administer the day-to-day operations of sales compensation plans, including processing commission calculations, ensuring accuracy, and resolving inquiries from sales teams.Data Analysis and Reporting:

Develop and maintain financial models to forecast sales performance based on historical data, market trends, and business assumptionsUtilize data analytics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales compensation, deal performance, and QTC process efficiencyPrepare reports and dashboards for senior management to support decision-making and strategic planning.Strategic Deal Sales Support:

Partner with sales teams to provide financial analysis and support for strategic deals, including pricing analysis, profitability assessment, and deal structuring.Ensure alignment of deal terms with company strategy, financial goals, and GAAP revenue recognition principles.Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner closely with the CRO, Sales and Practice Leadership teams, HR, and Senior Management to align sales compensation plans with company strategy and financial targets.Communicate effectively with Senior Management and IT to maintain and optimize sales compensation systems and tools (e.g., Xactly, Anaplan, SPIFF).Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders involved in the QTC process, including Sales, Finance, Operations, and Legal teams.Compliance and Quote-to Cash Risk Management:

Collaborate with stakeholders across Sales, Finance, and Operations to analyze and optimize the QTC process.Ensure compliance with GAAP revenue recognition standards and company policies in all sales transactions.Provide guidance on revenue recognition issues and exceptions, working closely with finance and accounting teams to resolve complexities.Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Economics, or related field AND 3+ years' experience in compensation, business management and operations, finance and analytics, human resources and people analytics, marketing, or sales strategy OR equivalent experience5+ years' working within sales compensation administration systems (Xactly, Oracle Incentive Compensation, IBM SPM or similar)5+ years' experience with Excel, Power BI, and SQL
