Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled AV Design Engineer to join our team. As an integral part of our engineering department, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and engineering state-of-the-art audio-visual systems that meet our clients' needs and exceed industry standards. Responsibilities:

Collaborate with clients and project stakeholders to understand project requirements, goals, and constraints.

Design and engineer innovative audio-visual solutions tailored to meet client needs and specifications.

Develop detailed AV system schematics, equipment lists, and architectural drawings using CAD software.

Conduct thorough site surveys to assess existing AV infrastructure, environmental factors, and project feasibility.

Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and commissioning.

Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in AV design and integration.

Work closely with vendors and suppliers to source high-quality AV equipment and components.

Support the sales team with technical presentations, proposals, and client consultations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Audio Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in audio-visual system design and engineering.

Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) for creating detailed drawings and schematics.

Strong understanding of audio-visual technologies, including video conferencing systems, digital signage, projection systems, and audio processing.

Familiarity with industry standards and guidelines (e.g., InfoComm, ANSI/INFOCOMM, CEDIA) for AV design and integration.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.

Experience with AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron) and programming languages (e.g., Python, Lua) is a plus.
