Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AV Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in AutoCAD, strong knowledge of signal flow, and ideally have hands-on experience in system design. As an AV Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining audio-visual systems, ensuring seamless integration and performance in various environments.
This position offers hybrid flexibility if needed.
Responsibilities:System Design:Collaborate with project managers and clients to develop detailed AV system designs tailored to specific needs.Use AutoCAD to create and revise AV system schematics, layouts, and as-built documentation.Develop comprehensive signal flow diagrams to ensure optimal system integration and functionality.Technical Expertise:Apply deep knowledge of signal flow, ensuring the proper routing of audio, video, and control signals.Select appropriate AV equipment, including displays, speakers, microphones, amplifiers, and control systems.Troubleshoot and resolve AV system issues related to signal flow, connectivity, and integration.Installation and Configuration:Oversee the installation of AV systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards.Program and configure AV systems, including control systems (e.g., Crestron, AMX, etc.), DSPs, and video conferencing setups.Collaboration and Support:Work closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, electrical engineers, and IT departments, to ensure seamless AV integration into larger projects.Provide technical support and training to end-users on the operation of installed AV systems.Maintain strong communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.Documentation and Maintenance:Maintain up-to-date documentation for all AV systems, including system design, signal flow diagrams, and equipment manuals.Perform regular maintenance, updates, and repairs to ensure long-term reliability and performance of AV systems.
