REQUIREMENTS
Competent in business computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and ACT.Proficient experience with AutoCAD for drafting documents and creating compliant drawings.Exceptional communication skills, capable of driving internal and external project communications to ensure client satisfaction.Committed to providing continuous, superior customer service while exceeding client expectations through proactive solutions and urgency.Strong multi-tasking abilities, managing multiple projects efficiently and effectively, while ensuring thorough documentation according to company policies.Exceptional organizational skills, with a focus on maintaining design intent and quality.Experience creating technical system cost estimates, budgets, and documentation according to company standards.PREFERRED
Certifications in Q-SYS, MediaMatrix, Soundweb, Extron, Crestron, AMX, Microsoft Project, CTS, CTS-D, EASE, SMAART, DANTE, Polycom, and Tandberg.Familiar with design systems featuring AMX, Crestron, Media Matrix, Nion, and proficiency in commercial digital media and IT infrastructure.RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide detailed and proactive design engineering for audio, video, digital media, IT, and control systems.Initiate and maintain proper design direction, collaborating with draftsmen and fabricators to meet scheduled deliverables.Deliver technical documentation, including sound pressure level estimates, equipment layouts, and other project-specific deliverables as needed.Assist account managers with labor and material estimates for projects.Oversee and/or develop the Bill of Materials (BOM) and supporting documentation.Collaborate with the sales department to create technical overviews and proposed equipment lists; handle pre/post AV designs.Provide A/V design support to ensure successful integration, training, and project closeout;Work alongside the project manager to develop system narratives defining A/V/C system objectives.Travel as needed for field engineering, site supervision, commissioning, and testing.Complete all required documentation and maintain thorough records for each project.Flexibility to handle other tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor.
