What you'll do
Provide support to the VP Land Acquisitions, VP Land Development, and VP Finance with the preparation of land analysis and forward-looking projectionsAssist in the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecastsProvide support to the VP Land Acquisitions and VP of Finance with land acquisition analysis and reviewReview and analysis of land budgetsPerform analysis on monthly financial results against budget and forecasts, including trend analysisAssist in the preparation of monthly financial reporting package (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Inventory, reconciliations, etc.)Responsible for the maintenance of the Division's house price worksheets (HPWs) and other supporting pricing tools for active communities and communities coming to marketPrepare and analyze pertinent schedules and compile supporting documents required for quarterly and annual auditsDevelop skills as a super user in OneStream and JD Edwards accounting softwareAdditional duties to be discussedWhat you bring
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required2+ years of experience in a financial reporting roleExperience with any accounting software packages and ability to quickly learn new software packagesAdvanced Excel skills including regular use of functions, pivot tables and macrosStrong analytical, accounting and organizational skills with attention to detailResults oriented with ability to set realistic and attainable goals and meet those on timeExceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organizationDemonstrates the highest level of ethics and personal integrityBonus points
Accounting and/or business designation (CPA/MBA) a plusHome building and/or land development experience strongly preferredExperience with JD Edwards and/or OneStream a definite plusExperience with Hyperion a plusBe yourself. We want it that way.
