Overview:
The Production Control & Logistics Specialist (BOM/EO Control) establishes and administers the Production Control Working Group. The incumbent will manage all areas of the BOM/EO.Responsibilities:(To perform within this position successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.)[BOM/EO Control]The initial point of contact for Customer (HMGMA) Engineering Change includes BOM.SAP Material Master management- create part numbers and maintain info (MRP view, Work center, Routing, Production version, Standard cost, Module no)Maintain SAP PP Module process and implementation (LTP, MRP, PIR, Backlog, Production result adjustment complete/component)Maintain production BOM in SAP/MES (Part no, Material information, Effective Point Information)Material consumption tracking for material closing and inventory accuracy (Weekly, Monthly)Maintain and distribute PART LIST MASTER to all department.Able to track material history for obsolescence or gain/loss items.Follow up with the IT team for SAP system improvement from a user standpoint.Coordinate EO implementation with all plan departmentsManage EO part changes (EO alert, 1st sequence recording, EO communications internal/external)EO info management (participate in internal/external EO meetings, track upcoming EPI)Maintain EO systems (G-EPI, SAP)Supervisory Responsibilities:NoQualifications:(The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.)Required Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry-specific experience required.0 to 3 years of experience in the Just in Sequence production control field in the Automotive industry.Bachelor's degree in industrial system engineering or mechanical engineering.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:MS Word, Excel, PowerPointSAP desired (PP/MM)Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:None required.Working Conditions :Position hours: 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.Overtime as needed.Traversing around the production floorOccasional travel as needed.
