We are looking for a Mid-Sr. IT Support Specialist (3-8 years professional experience), to help support roughly 300 users across our physical and virtual IT environment including on-premise, VPN's & cloud servers (Azure/VMware/Horizon), networking devices (Cisco/Unifi), computers/laptops (PC and MAC), and Microsoft 365 applications.

Deliver general workstation support (PC and MAC environment), as well as Printers, Security Cameras, Scanners, and other devices.Support, manage, troubleshoot, and resolve service requests (150-concurrent end-users in the network) with a customer service mind-set.Troubleshoot and set-up network connectivity, involving Cisco Switches, Routers, Cabling. TCP/IP troubleshooting.Perform Windows OS and Windows DNS support.Navigate Active Directory to enact distribution groups and create, change, and disable users.Troubleshoot VPN connectivity issues and administer password resets.Utilize basic Windows Server (OS v. 10/11) and MS Azure support skills.Provide first level triage virtual server support to re-establish functionality for users.Driven to follow all SOP to resolve all technical issues.Administer incident response system reboots.Perform basic ITIL security to provide basic printing and connectivity support.Deliver scripted application support.Basic end-user email support.Job Details

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to commute on-site 9 am - 5 pm, 5-days per week at our Carson, CA HQ.3-8 years of experience in IT Support, Systems Administration, and/or Network Administration.Experience with Cisco Routing, Switches, and Networking (LAN/VLAN) + Basic foundations in TCP/IP.Experience with VMware and/or VMware Horizon (Horizon View), as well as UniFi Network.Knowledge of a Hybrid Server Environments: Currently we support On-Premise Servers (90%) & MS Azure (10%).Basic knowledge of Windows command line (CMD, Shell/PowerShell).Technical knowledge for supporting Microsoft 365 applications.Understanding of technical triage methodologies.Adherence to ticketing methodologies regarding documentation, process, and workflow.Ability to communicate both verbal and written technical information to a wide range of end-users with a customer service mind-set.Ability to work in a team environment; contribute and treat co-workers and customers with respect.Nice-to-have:

SQL Scripting, in particular T-SQL for MS SQL ServerPrior experience supporting projects for the migration of on-premise servers to Microsoft Azure.Preferred Education, Experience, and Certifications (nice to have):

Bachelor's Degree preferred (not required), in MIS, IT, CIS, Networking, or Computer Science.Prior MSP support desk experience, highly encouraged.Network+ certification and/or CCNAA+ certification.Server+ certification.Relevant MS Azure certifications.Basic knowledge of network concepts, devices, and best practices.Microsoft 365 certification.
