The Accountant will consistently exhibit behavior and communication skills that demonstrate commitment to superior customer service, including quality and care and concern with each and every internal and external customer. The Accountant will represent the company in a professional manner, following all company policies and procedures and be responsible for general accounting functions including financial reporting and support.What you will do in this role:You will maintain multiple general ledgers and be responsible for processing AP invoices, check request in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring accurate codingYou will prepare monthly journal entries as required, to accurately close the monthly fiscal periodYou will prepare detailed monthly actual to budget variance reports to support management in the review of monthly operating performanceYou will prepare monthly reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts, including documentation to support all balancesYou will prepare accruals for all payables during month endYou will participate in development and detailed review of annual operating budgets and performance projectionsYou will respond to request for information related to both external and internal auditsWhat qualifications you will need:
4 year Bachelors Degree is required; Accounting or Business Degree preferredPrevious Accounting experience is required, at least 2 years is preferred.Healthcare experience in an accounting or financial role is preferred"Memorial Hospital
