The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and safety of ArchWell Health centers, as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory and environmental guidelines and standards. This role involves vendor coordination, budget management, and collaborating with the market clinical teams to maintain a safe and efficient environment for member care. The ideal candidate will be a highly driven and detail-oriented professional that possesses a deep understanding of building maintenance and systems, vendor management, and has proven experience to prioritize and balance multiple competing tasks.Duties/Responsibilities:Facility Maintenance: Ensure regular maintenance of the building’s mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Oversee repairs and facility upgrades as necessary.Safety & Compliance: Ensure the facility complies with all local, state, and federal regulations, including safety standards. Conduct safety inspections and address potential hazards.Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors, including cleaners, security personnel, and maintenance contractors. Negotiate service contracts and monitor service quality.Space Planning: Coordinate space allocation and layout changes, ensuring optimal use of available space. Assist with facility expansion or remodeling projects.Budget Management: Prepare and manage the facility’s budget, tracking expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities.Policies & Procedures: Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for the facility staff to follow.Staff Management: Lead and supervise both internal and external facility staff, including maintenance teams and security personnel. Ensure team members are adequately trained and equipped.Emergency Preparedness: Assist in implementing emergency response plans and safety protocols.Travel: Ability and willingness to travel to the facilities for any urgent needs and site inspections, up to 50%.Required Skills/Abilities:Ability to lead and manage teams, including facility staff and vendors.Strong analytical skills to quickly diagnose and resolve issues.Understanding of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and security.Strong verbal and written communication for coordination with vendors and colleagues.Familiarity with negotiating contracts and service agreements with vendors as necessary.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.Ability to manage emergencies and unexpected situations.Ability to empower and equip front-line leaders to discuss facility needs, accompanied by effectively de-escalating situations and reinforcing accurate information and ensuring clarity in communication.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.Minimum of five years of multi-unit retail center facility management experience preferred.Minimum of three years of proven leadership and staff management experience.Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.).Embodies and serves as a role model of ArchWell Health’s Values:Be compassionate.Strive for excellence.Earn trust.Show respect.Stay resilient.Always do the right thing.About ArchWell Health:At ArchWell Health, we’re creating a community of caring designed to help our members stay healthy and engaged.
