The ideal candidate is someone excited to be a key contributor to the sales team and foster long-term relationships with our advertising clients. This teammate will wear many hats, all vital to Cognitiv’s revenue success. This is a role designed to lead to a pure sales position and therefore has a blend of both administrative and sales responsibilities.This position will be located in our Chicago office with a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in office (Mon/Tue/Wed) and 2 days remote (Thursday/Friday). Schedule is not flexible and is the same across all business units/office locations.Responsibilities

Researching, identifying, and qualifying prospective leads for the sales teamWriting persuasive cold outreach emails, sending LinkedIn videos, and social sellingDisciplined follow up process to secure meetingsCollaborate with and support senior sellers to generate new business meetings for their pipelineTry out new creative and bold experiments to find what resonates with AdTech prospectsSupport marketing team with invitations to dinners and other engagements at eventsRequirements

2 years of SDR/BDR/TDR experienceStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsSelf-starter and very highly detail-orientedGreat time management skills and ability to adjust quickly in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentAbility to embrace being independent, but also highly collaborativeBold, competitive, loves to win.Not complacent doing the bare minimum to hit activity metrics.Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree (highly preferred but not required)Entrepreneurial mindedExperience in a startup environment and/or a client-facing roleFinds the prospecting and sales process highly fascinatingFamiliarity with sales tools: Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesloft, SellerCrowdPreferred skills: public speaking, time management, ability to learn new technologies & industries quicklySalary

$62,400 -$65,000, uncapped commission, and equityActual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to job-related knowledge, level of relevant experience, education and skills. Base salary is just one component of your total rewards package at Cognitiv.
