The UAA College of Arts and Sciences seeks candidates for its Student Support Coordinator. In this position, you will be responsible for student success efforts including recruitment events and retention initiatives. You will also oversee the strategic use of administrative scholarships. There will be ongoing collaboration with the College of Arts and Sciences communications specialist, the Dean’s Office, and the College’s academic units, as well as with academic advisors and the UAA Office of Admissions. Position is located in Anchorage, Alaska at the UAA campus, with opportunities for some remote work for those who desire a hybrid schedule. A strong commitment to UA and College of Arts and Sciences mission, goals and values. We prefer that you have experience in higher education, experience working with students or student success efforts/initiatives, and familiarity with the College of Arts and Sciences and our academic programs.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree and two years relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Experience with Google or Microsoft programs, databases, online data queries and reports.Position Details:This position is located on the University of Alaska Anchorage campus in Anchorage, Alaska and flexible on-site/hybrid work arrangements may be considered in accordance with UA regulations. This is a full-time, non-exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and
