Position Summary:Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a

Senior Administrative Support Specialist

providing support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC/HBD), Theater Battle Control Division. The Theater Battle Control Division manages efforts focused on developing, acquiring, fielding and sustaining programs that support worldwide communications, Battle Management, Command & Control, Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C2ISR), Tactical Air Control, Air/Ground Surveillance, Time Critical Targeting, Combat Identification, Radar Imagery, Integrated Air/Missile Defense, and Mobile/Fixed C2ISR Performance, Exploitation & Dissemination Facilities.The Contractor shall provide Administrative Support Specialist assistance that will provide a multitude of analysis, procedural competency and process improvement strategies with increasing levels of responsibility. This includes staff support for the senior managers and members of the organizational staff. This includes but is not limited to researching and compiling information pertaining to certain projects/topics, reviews Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) packages, prepares factual, clear, concise, complete and appropriately coordinated written communications.This is a full-time position located at Hanscom AFB.Responsibilities:

Duties include, but are not limited to:Monitors progress toward accomplishment of various taskings and initiatives.Provides support by supplying the information and background for the preparation of program events.Coordinates, documents, monitors, and supports a variety of meetings and conferences to include, but not limited to, scheduling and set up of physical and virtual meetings.Prepares background information and invites required meeting participants ensuring documentation of the meetings are filed IAW organizational policy.Maintains scheduling documents and requirements for video and online conferencing set up and execution.Maintains appointment calendars and conference room schedules.Answers telephones, forwards messages, and provides responses to routine queries.Assists with coordination, consolidation, analysis, distribution and monitoring of action items, suspense’s and responses.Provides inputs and recommendations regarding administrative and office management processes and procedures.Assists with preparation of and updates to program office file management documents.Prepares agendas, reports and briefings for staff meetings.Assists Government with management of organization’s workflow.Assists with travel planning, travel arrangements and execution IAW with the Defense Travel Administrator’s Manual utilizing the Defense Travel System.Additional administrative duties as required.Qualifications:

Must be a US citizen.Clearance:

Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret security clearance (can start with an interim Secret Clearance).Education:

GED and at least five years of experience in respective profession being performed, five of which must be in the DoD.Years’ experience:

5-7 years of related professional experience.Preferred Qualifications:Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and/or 12 years of experience in the respective professional discipline being performed, five of which are in the DoD.Additional Information:
