Your opportunity

Take ownership of the teams’ oversight responsibilities covering Trade Management (ETD, Securities, Money Market and FX), Collateral and Margin Management (Bilateral and Cleared) and our outsourced Securities Lending programProvide oversight of service provider quality and performance by monitoring KPIs, metrics and regularly reviewing the SLA with adherence to contractual policies, procedures and controlsEvaluate New Markets, New Instruments, New Investments and any Non-Standard, complex requests in line with Operations Governance procedure, liaise internally and partner with service provider to provide solutions and implement operational improvementsIdentify, establish, and implement standard methodologies in regard to trade operationsBuild, document, maintain, challenge and recommend improvements to process flowsParticipate in business and technology improvement initiativesEnsure appropriate operational controls in order to manage and mitigate riskBuild and foster relationships with internal partners and external service providerCarry out other duties as assignedWhat to expect when you join our firmHybrid working and reasonable accommodationsPaid volunteer time to step away from your desk and into the communitySupport to grow through professional development courses, tuition/qualification reimbursement and moreAll-inclusive approach to Diversity, Equity and InclusionMaternal/paternal leave benefits and family servicesComplimentary subscription to Headspace – the mindfulness appCorporate membership to ClassPass and other health and well-being benefitsUnique employee events and programs including a 14er challengeComplimentary beverages, snacks and all employee Happy HoursMust have skillsSolid understanding of trade lifecycle across all major asset classes (fixed income, alternatives, equities, money markets) from order execution management, allocations, confirmation, pre-settlement and failed trade managementAnalytical and problem-solving skillsHighly organized, attention to detail and excellent follow through skillsAble to work independently, gather information, make decisions and get resultsProactive, self-starting individual with high levels of ownershipAbility to build the trust and confidence in capabilities and work well with others internally to accomplish client objectivesNice to have skills2 – 3 years of relevant experience in middle office operationsExperience with relationship managementAble to operate across geographies and time zones to deliver results in a truly global organizationCapable of driving discussions with multiple groups across different business units including traders, operations, controllers and technology to build business requirements specificationsPotential for growthRegular trainingContinuing education coursesYou will be expected to understand the regulatory obligations of the firm and abide by the regulated entity requirements and JHI policies applicable for your role.At Janus Henderson Investors we’re committed to an inclusive and supportive environment. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This role will remain open through September 15, 2024.Annual Bonus Opportunity:

Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits. Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.Benefits:
