Florence, South Carolina.The Planner

supports Transmission field personnel in construction and maintenance of substation assets. Responsibilities include preparing work packages, estimating resources and durations, identifying special requirements, and coordinating with various teams. The role involves managing changes to work plans, ensuring documentation accuracy, and supporting capital projects ranging from $150M to $300M annually.Perks of Joining our Team!

Develop work packages including scope, estimates, and resource needsPlan for equipment, tools, and permitsProduce construction estimates and track work progressCoordinate with construction resources and project managementAssist with emergency planning and site visitsClosely monitor the progress and status of work and is responsible for raising issues to schedulers and supervisors to identify areas for improvement and opportunities to improve efficienciesEnsure accurate completion of NERC related documentationCoordinate transmission clearances with Grid Management, ECC & TCC, and DCCAssist in resolving and re-sequencing the work considering any customer sensitivitiesQualifications & Skills:

Associate's degree or Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years related experienceKnowledge of substation, apparatus, relaying and line maintenance practices in order to identify all needed procedures, resources and clearances to effectively perform each maintenance/construction jobKnowledge of work management systems (e.g., MAXIMO, MS Project)Experience in substation and line maintenanceAble to attend onsite visits and in person meetings during normal business hours in the area in which the Substation Crews support 2 or more times per weekStrong communication and organizational skillsThe salary range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licenses and certifications; and other related skillsets.
