Our National Air Logistics Aerospace Customer Care Specialist will be responsible for coordinating the transportation, handling and storage of specialized aircraft parts.
You should be a subject matter expert in these products, as well as the logistical requirements for handling. You will help support the North America aerospace operations.
Your Responsibilities
Represent the USA AOG (Air on Ground) and Engine Desk to both internal and external customersCommunicate with customers via phone and emailHandle general customer service inquiries via phone and email related to tracking and tracing of AOG & Engine shipmentsPrepare, handle, and process documentation for AOG & Engine movesCoordinate all aspects of pick-up and delivery, including initiation, rate quotation, status updates, and vendor invoice approvalTrack and trace shipments, monitor vendor performance, and address and resolve service irregularitiesEnsure shipments adhere to schedules through follow-upCollaborate with company branches, gateways, and other offices under the direction of the AOG & Engine DeskYour Skills and Experiences
Relevant College degree and/or certification a plusA minimum of 2-3 years experience in AirfreightExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenProficient computer skills (solid data entry with high accuracy rate, email, internet, excel, word, etc.)Understanding of export procedures/documentation is beneficialSolid knowledge of domestic and international geography including countries, major cities and airportsMust initially be able to work Monday through Friday 9am - 5pm, with potential for future shift flexibilityGood Reasons to Join
