You will play a critical role in supporting teams and employees and have a knack for enhancing employee engagement in a remote environment, extensive non-exempt recruiting experience, and strong influencing skills.Connecting you to great benefitsRemoteWeekly PaychecksPaid Time Off, Parental Leave, and HolidaysInsurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance)401(k) w/ Company MatchStock Purchase PlanEducation ReimbursementLegal InsuranceDiscounts on gym memberships, pet insurance, and much more!What you’ll do as a Human Resources Business PartnerProvides guidance to and counsel management and/or associates on associate relations issues and company policies, practices and procedures to include, but not limited to, promotions, demotions, transfers, benefits/open enrollment, leave of absences, return to work programs, worker's compensation, performance evaluations, performance plans, disciplinary actions, and terminations.Creates an engaging quarterly newsletter, enhances and maintains the employee portal, and designs social media communications to enhance engagement.Works with internal departments and external contacts as appropriate to ensure effective administration of programs.Recommends HR process improvements and best practices.Conducts virtual employee orientations.Manages leave administration (FMLA, Worker’s Comp, Personal, Reasonable Accommodation) and manages benefits administration in conjunction with the parent company.Utilizes the applicant tracking system to maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment and applicant files and proper disposition of candidates.Screens candidates by phone to determine qualifications for the position.Administers pre-hire diligence, including background checks and drug screen status.Skillfully investigates employee relations concerns and maintains confidentiality in all matters.What you’ll needTo be 18 years of age or older.Authorization to work in the United States for this company.Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Human Resource Management or business-related discipline.5 plus years of exempt level HR experience in a multi-state, multi-unit environment with a significant non-exempt employee population.Strong preference for those with experience in managing a population of “off-site” employees.PHR, or SHRM-CP certification preferred.Ability to create warm and engaging employee communications and social media posts. Knowledge of the Comsite employee communication platform a plus.Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite. Through knowledge of Excel and can create bulk mail merge documents.Experience working in HRIS Systems (UKG, iCIMS, SAP a plus).Professional leadership presence, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proven ability to effectively collaborate with all levels of employees.Additional qualificationsHighly organized, efficient, goal oriented, and attention to detail.Demonstrated ability to understand key customer’s business units, help business units meet goals, and become a trusted business partner.Why work with usYour career here is more than just a job — it's your pathway to opportunity.
