Discover a more connected Associate Analyst of Claims careerAt VCI Construction, as an Associate Analyst of Claims, you’ll be the first point of contact for all general liability, auto liability, and worker's compensation claims for an assigned geographic territory which may cross operational division boundaries. Case management responsibilities handling claims in close cooperation with the Corporate, Insurance, and Legal Departments. The Analyst of Claims also provides risk management services in collaboration with the Safety Director, Claims Manager, Executive Staff, Division Managers, & provides consultations to regional level staff.Connecting you to great benefitsWeekly PaychecksPaid Time Off, Parental Leave, and HolidaysInsurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance)401(k) w/ Company MatchStock Purchase PlanEducation ReimbursementLegal InsuranceWhat you’ll do as an Associate Analyst of ClaimsDirectly handles cases and exercises independent judgment in the investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and disposition of Auto, General Liability, and Property claims.Monitor all high-exposure and complex files with Manager guidance and oversight.Answer and initiate calls correspondence and may provide customer service as required.First point of contact in handling and reporting Workers Compensation cases. Coordinates and assists carriers in conducting investigations for compensability and overall management of the case.Ensures archival and retention of all appropriate documentation supporting cases.Establishes and maintains rapport with claimants, adjusters, internal and external customers and other involved parties in the claims process.Review demands and provide requested information to management and insurance carriers.Ensure the continued settlement of claims in alignment with industry best practices and adherence to all state and federal regulations.Creates and analyzes trend and financial reports for leadership and executive teams.Review and approve complaint responses, pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, motions, and settlement agreements.Coordinate, communicate and distribute litigation information to management.Ensure all field investigation documents have been provided. May attend Small Claims Court trials.Demonstrates a strong capacity to quickly adapt by learning new skills and unlearning outdated ones.What you’ll needTo be 18 years of age or older.Authorization to work in the United States for this company.Previous experience in insurance claims management position or related experience in a corporate insurance or legal department, law firm, or insurance company with experience in liability and worker's compensation claims, ranging from minor property damage claims to serious injuries.Ability to process heavy volume of complex written material; analyze situations and establish priorities.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.Ability to learn quickly, multi-task, and retain information specific to the business.Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.3-5 years of experience in claims.Comfortable leading Online/Zoom Meetings.Must be able to pass background and drug screen.Additional qualifications (if applicable)Supervisory experience preferred.College Degree preferred, but not required.Ability to communicate in Spanish preferred, but not required.Salary Range: $66,560 - $75,000 /yrWhy work with usYour career here is more than just a job — it's your pathway to opportunity.
