Marcum LLP is seeking a

Temporary Workforce Planning Scheduler

to join our growing and well-established national firm in our

Washington DC

office. This position requires an experienced operational/administrative professional with strong interpersonal and solid organizational skills. This position will be a 6-month assignment.

What you will do

Ensure schedules are generated and updated on a regular basis to maximize efficiency of resources.

Effectively fill resource engagement requests.

Acquire a thorough knowledge of the skills of the staff and the skills required for each client.

Highly organized and manage multiple demands simultaneously, providing communication in real time about progress.

Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly reports which include planning, staff availability, staff boards, and staffing by client among others.

Data entry of staff schedules into scheduling systems.

Collaborate with workforce planning senior manager and coordinator to integrate new hires and current associates into appropriate engagement/project teams.

Who you are

Strong metrics-focused with ability to use analytics to solve problems and develop solutions.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills, specifically with Excel and pivot tables required.

Attentive to details and able to also step back and apply big picture thinking.

Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to listen effectively to associates of all levels.

Work well under pressure and with a team; ability to meet deadlines with accuracy.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities are a must; must be organized paying close attention to detail.

Team player with desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

Flexibility and openness to work on a variety of assignments, able to multi-task and learn processes quickly and apply the knowledge.

Requirements / Qualifications

Associate degree or bachelor's degree in related field preferred.

One to three years progressive operations/administrative experience with key experience in data entry and reporting.

Extensive Excel experience with pivot tables and report analysis.

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment.
