As we continue to expand our energy efficiency programs, we are looking for a talented Power BI Specialist to support our client's programs.

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Specialist to join our team and support our Energy Efficiency client's programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data visualization, reporting, and analytics using Power BI. This role is essential for transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive decision-making and program success.

Responsibilities:Dashboard Development:Design, develop, and maintain interactive, visually compelling dashboards using Power BI to support energy efficiency financial analysis, forecasting, and program management.Collaborate with stakeholders to understand dashboard requirements and ensure the final products meet the needs of users.Continuously improve and optimize dashboards for better performance and user experience.Data Visualization & Reporting:Create dynamic reports and visualizations that clearly communicate key insights from financial and energy data.Utilize Power BI's advanced features to create custom visuals, drill-down reports, and interactive dashboards.Ensure that all visualizations are aligned with program goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).Data Integration & Management:Integrate data from various sources, including financial systems, energy databases, and external data feeds, into Power BI.Build and maintain efficient data models to support the performance of Power BI dashboards and reports.Work closely with IT and data teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and availability.Advanced Analytics:Leverage Power BI's advanced analytics capabilities to support energy savings analysis, investment analysis, and financial forecasting.Develop and implement custom calculations using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) to meet specific analysis needs.Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to enhance energy efficiency program outcomes.Automation & Process Improvement:Automate routine reporting tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual workload.Identify and implement process improvements in data reporting and dashboard development.Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and best practices to continuously enhance reporting capabilities.Collaboration & Communication:Work closely with the Energy Efficiency Financial Analyst / Forecasting Analyst and other stakeholders to gather requirements and refine data visualization needs.Present Power BI dashboards and insights to senior management, program managers, and clients.Provide training and support to team members on the effective use of Power BI tools and dashboards.

Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience with Power BI, including report and dashboard development.Strong proficiency in data modeling, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), and Power Query.Experience working with financial data, energy data, or in the energy or utilities sector is highly preferred.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
