Extrusion Operator

Staffmark is looking for dedicated individuals to join a thriving fiber manufacturer in Johnson City, TN! As an Extrusion Operator, you will play a crucial role in operating melt spinning Extrusion Machines efficiently and safely in a fast-paced environment. This position involves setting up, operating, and monitoring machines that extrude and form continuous filaments from synthetic materials. Pay: $17.50 per hour + $1.50/hr. weekly attendance bonus Schedule: 11:00pm to 7:30am Job Responsibilities: Record operational data on tags and attach to machines. Clean and maintain extruding and forming machines. Remove the excess or completed filament from machines. Monitor machine operation, control boards, and gauges for malfunctions. Maintain cleanliness and safety in the production area. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: One year of machining experience.
