Job Summary
:
Responsible for welding a variety of engineered parts per given specifications utilizing the TIG and/or MIG welding process and completing given tasks by an assigned due date.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
:
TIG & MIG weld stainless steel, aluminum and mild steel in all positionsAbility to read and interpret AutoCAD and technical drawings and follow bill of materials (BOMs)Quality check parts after completion to insure they match the engineered printCreate new welding jigs/fixtures that pertain to the partOperate vertical, horizontal and other type of saws as well as other power and hand toolsWill be responsible for pulling/picking material from stock to complete workEducation/Experience
:
High school diploma or equivalentTwo or more years of current and documentable welding experience with TIG and MIG welding and/or a recently completed degree or certificate in welding and joining technologyKnowledge/Skills/Abilities
:
Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materialsAbility to successfully pass an in-house welding testFlexibility to respond to dynamic work environment and customer needsFamiliarity with Microsoft D365 ERP is a plusExcellent oral and written communication skillsLift and move parts that can weight up to 70lbs
Ability to work and collaborate as an integral part of a team
