Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: PCU Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) Guaranteed Hours: - 3, 12-hour shifts - 36 hours in one workweek.- 4, 12-hour shifts - 48 hours in one workweek. Experience: 2 years required; first-timers accepted License: - Compact or state license required; must be in hand. Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias - IV insulin protocols- Titration of insulin drips- Starting IVs- Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips- Tracheostomy care- Feeding tubes- Chest tube experience- Charge experience required Job Description: - RTO restriction: Must work December 24th and/or 25th.- Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.- Floating is required within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital.- Charge pay now offered with an increase per hour.- Weekend requirement as specified.- Not open to local residents for the specified positions.- Orientation: 12 non-billable hours.- Flu Vaccine required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only.- Must manage patient ratios: 1:4.- Open to discussing block schedule accommodations.- Travelers must have attended an accredited university by ACEN or CCNE.- Two supervisor references required.Note: Background policies and experience requirements may apply.
