JOB OVERVIEW:
Fabricate and assemble equipment and fixtures of various sizes, both for repair and to make new, using plasma arc cutting, torches, and stick welding techniques. Flux core/ Mig welding. Project welding and fabrication throughout Modern's buildings. No assembly line welding.
Basic Responsibilities:
As part of the heat treat maintenance team, complete assigned projects, and assist technicians where needed.
Fabricate and assemble equipment components, heavy wire baskets, a wide variety of fixtures, and more as assigned.
Project welding for all of Modern's four divisions. New weld shop set up.

Blueprint reading
Measuring / math skills
Hand tools
Brake press
We Prefer:
Formal technical training in welding
Work SchedulePerhaps Opposite of Christopher F once trained.
Travel RequirementsOccasional day travel to satellite location, occasional training
