The
Lift Operator
is responsible for safely loading and unloading guests of all ages and abilities using our chairlifts. As a member of the lift department team, the lift operator will provide exceptional service for our guests during their visit.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Follow company/department safety policies and procedures.Able to work independently or in a small group to accomplish daily job-related tasks.Complete pre-operational procedures and inspections.Assist in snow removal, daily set up and routine maintenance of work areas.Anticipate guests' needs and provide service above and beyond guest expectations.Remain alert for guests improperly loading and unloading the ski lifts.Assist with completing lift closing procedures.Work with all mountain departments respectfully in assisting and resolving issues that could arise during the operations.Qualifications:
18 years or older, high school diploma or equivalentAble to read, write, speak, and understand EnglishAble to lift 50 pounds, Able to work outside in all weather conditionsSkiing/Snowboarding is a requiredCompletion of Sun Valley lift department/lift operator trainingCan work weekends, holidays, and early mornings (6:00 a.m.)Able to work through the entire winter season
