Summary:Provides Tier 3 support for the Audio-Visual (AV) systems and infrastructure at all Children's Health facilities. Acts as an escalation path for team members who need assistance with more technical AV issues. Monitors and maintains the supporting AV infrastructure at all CHST facilities to ensure the stability, usability, and day-to-day functionality of all AV Equipment and Technology at Children's Health. Provides AV Support for Children's Health Events, this includes setup and operation of systems and equipment for special events.

Responsibilities:* Setup and operation of AV systems for events like Live Streams, Town Hall Meetings, etc.* Video Recording and Editing* Remote event production using Zoom to support webinars with presenters in various locations.* Maintenance of servers and their associated applications that support the AV infrastructure.* Maintenance and Troubleshooting of internal RF and IPTV distribution systems and the TV Headends provided by DirecTV and Spectrum.* Provide End-User training on all aspects of AV systems, effectively explaining system operation and related concepts to non-technical users* Respond to and resolve requests for service within established Service Level Agreements, and regularly update customers on the status of their request or issue.* Provide technical support to other IS team members and customers across various Children's campuses including Dallas, Plano, and other locations (streaming events, special events, digital signage, all aspects of Audio Visual including speakers, microphones, mixers, mobile displays, and lighting)* Accurately document service requests promptly including root cause, problem analysis, and steps to final resolution.* Must follow all department policies and procedures including escalation process and response times.* Responsible for completing ongoing annual training as assigned by management and the Training Department.* During the course of employment must be flexible for potential schedule changes in a 24-hour 7 day a 7-day-a-week environment. Flexible schedules require availability for nights and weekends including unplanned and unscheduled overtime* Drive company and/or personal vehicle between various Children's locations to service and/or install equipment* Possess sound knowledge of audio-visual connectivity and signal flow, and the impact of the control system and audio programming on the overall system.* Familiar with Crestron, BiAmp, and QSYS product lines, able to configure these devices as needed.* Familiar with the administration of Zoom, MS Teams, and Webex platforms.* Familiar with Poly Lens and Cisco Webex Admin management platforms.* Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.* Strong understanding of RF distribution systems for Cable/Satellite TV, testing and balancing methods* Must be able to read system schematics and floor plans.* Experience with Remote Event Production using Zoom or similar platforms. Providing guidance to remote presenters on camera angles, proper lighting, and audio setup for events.* Ability to work cooperatively in a team-oriented environment and possess excellent organizational, customer service, and communication skills.* Able to handle viewing surgical procedures or patients in various stages of treatment, (this is rare for this position, but it is possible)* Able to adapt to last-minute changes and surprises.* Must share the mentality that we do what it takes to get the job done.* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.* Ability to work under pressure.* Ability to handle multiple issues at a time.* Other duties as assigned to meet the customer's needs.

WORK EXPERIENCE* At least 6 years of experience as an Audio Visual Support technician or related field (Required)* At least 2 years experience with AV systems installation and service in the healthcare environment (Preferred)

EDUCATION* High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training beyond high school (Required)* Two-year Associate's degree or equivalent experience (Preferred)

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS* QSYS Control 101 within one year from date of hire (Required)* Valid unrestricted driver's license and proof of insurance (Required)* Comp TIA A+ certification (Preferred)
