Registered Nurse (RN) - NICU CWR

Weekly Pay Range - $2191 To $2434 Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: NICU Job Duration: 13-week assignment Shift: 7pm - 7:30am; 3x12.5-hour shifts (36 hours/week) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week Experience: - 1+ year of experience in the related specialty License: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license Certifications: - BLS (AHA)- NRP (AHA Only) Must-Have: - Level II experience- Strong IV skills- Bedside UA, UV, and chest tube insertion- Managing CPAP (respiratory shared with hospital)- Tube feeding (NG/OG)- Universal Transfers- Epic experience- English proficiency (read, write, speak) Job Description: - Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.- Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.- Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.- Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans for patients through initial and ongoing assessments.- Initiate assessments based on patient needs, physician medical diagnoses, and the functional health framework.- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions.- Manage patient care.- Document care based on standards, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.- Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support the adoption of such practices and innovations in care delivery.- Provide patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing practice models.- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Additional Notes: - Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts/month (combination of Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays as assigned by management)- Holiday Requirement: None- On-Call Requirement: None- Float Requirement: None Preferred Experience: - Level III experience- Baby catching (attending deliveries as a nursery nurse) - Experience in environments with 24/7 in-house pediatricians and on-call remote neonatologists (without residents/PAs/NPs) Education: - Required: ASN- Preferred: BSN
