This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with an amazing company with fantastic growth opportunities!RequirementsDescriptionQualified candidates must possess skills necessary to successfully function in a quick-turn, high-speed machine shop. This position presents a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude/skills and attention to detail with many avenues for career growth. Set up and operate a variety of CNC machine tools and controls to produce precision parts. We have four shifts available:Mon-Fri Weekdays 8-Hour ShiftsMon-Thurs Swing 10-Hour Shifts - every week enjoy a 3-day weekend!Weekends - Three 12-hour shifts (FT opportunity) - enjoy 4 days off per week!Mon-Thurs: Graveyard Shift - every week enjoy 3 days off!*Please note that off shifts offer shift differential payRequirementsJob Responsibilities: Included, but not limited to:Load and unload parts for machining up to 40 pounds.Perform basic equipment maintenance.Read and interpret manufacturing prints.Possess efficient math skills and basic understanding of geometric tolerance.Check parts using basic measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges.CNC setup and operation; tech tools, load programs and set/adjust work/tool offsets accordingly. Haas, Fanuc, Siemens, and Okuma controls are a plus.Inspect machined parts following 1st Part and in process inspection protocol. CNC 3 axis experience, 4 & 5 axis machining experience is a plus.Able to change fixtures, replace tool changes and manage tool libraries. The employer retains the right to change or assign other duties to this position.JOB QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL SKILLS:Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.Ability to communicate effectively.Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.Able to multitask and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Experienced in the set-up and run of 3-axis vertical CNC mills, 4 & 5 axis iss a plus.Experienced with multiple metrology tools for measuring and recording part dimensions.PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS:Self-Starter / Self-Motivated / Flexible / Detail Oriented.Dependable with a strong work ethic.Positive customer focused attitude.Enjoys fast pace and rapidly changing environment.Honest with stellar integrity.Professional demeanor and respectful to people in all situations.Willingness to help others as needs and tasks change often.Team player.Quality Oriented.Possess efficient math skills.Willing to flex hours as needed (i.e. short notice overtime)Trade school and/or at least one year experience in the manufacturing environment preferred, but not required.Applicant must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check prior to employment.ITAR REQUIREMENTS: To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
