On-site, FLCompany Overview:My client is an International utility-scale renewable energy developer working across, Storage, Wind and Solar and their focused on delivering clean energy solutions across North America. Im seeking a talented, motivated, and independent Finance Associate to join their growing team. This position will play a key role in supporting the financial operations and development of large-scale renewable energy projects from early-stage development through execution.Key Responsibilities:Financial Modeling Evaluation:
Assess and improve financial modeling tools to support the evaluation of utility-scale renewable energy projects.Tax Equity and Incentives:
Analyze and apply tax equity structures and federal/state-level tax incentives to optimize project financing.Project Assessments:
Conduct financial analysis and prepare comprehensive project assessments at various stages of development (early-stage through execution).Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with lenders and tax equity investors to structure financing arrangements and support due diligence.Market Research:
Monitor trends and regulatory changes impacting tax equity and renewable energy incentives.Risk Management:
Assist in identifying financial risks and opportunities associated with different project structures and market conditions.Reporting:
Prepare financial reports, presentations, and recommendations for internal teams and external stakeholders, including senior management and investors.Qualifications:Experience:
2-3 years of experience in finance, ideally within the renewable energy or utility-scale infrastructure sectors.Education:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.Location:
Must be able to work on-site.Skills:Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.Knowledge of tax equity, tax incentives, and project finance structures.Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software.Strong communication and presentation skills.
