Clair Global Product is growing and is looking to add a
Material Handler
to their team. The Material Handler plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials throughout the manufacturing facility. They are responsible for counting, inspecting, and storing materials, transporting them throughout the facility, and ensuring that workstations are adequately stocked to meet production needs. By maintaining accurate inventory records, performing routine counts, and assisting with shipping and receiving operations, the Material Handler helps to minimize production delays and ensure timely delivery of finished products to customers. Their attention to safety and proper equipment handling also contributes to maintaining a safe and organized work environment, supporting the overall productivity and operational success of the organization.

High school diploma or equivalentForklift certification or willingness to become certifiedAbility to lift heavy objectsBasic computer skills for inventory management and reportingGood communication skills and a team-oriented attitudeAbility to work in a fast-paced and adapt to shifting prioritiesEXPERIENCE:
Previous experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or a similar role is preferredExperience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipmentFamiliarity with inventory management systems and basic shipping and receiving practices is advantageousRESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Responsibilities and duties include:
Accurately maintain inventory records, updating stock levels in the ERP systemConduct routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory auditsTransport materials between various storage areas and to production areas as needed and complete required documentation for material movements and inventory adjustmentsEnsure continuous material availability to prevent production delaysCommunicate material shortages, overages, and other issues to supervisorsWork closely with production, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth material flowKeep storage areas, workstations, and warehouses organized and free of hazardsFollow company safety policies and ensure proper handling of hazardous materials when applicable.Assist other departments during peak periods or staffing shortages as needed
