GI Technician

Actalent is currently partnering with a facility in the Oak Ridge area in need of a GI Technician to join their team. Please see below for details and qualifications!Description:Prep room for Endoscopy procedures Communicate with physicians regarding patient vitals Taking and monitoring patient vital signs, data entry and maintaining a sterile environmentEscorts patient/families through and assists in checking in of patients as scheduled or neededSafely delivers Endoscopes to and from the procedure roomCollects, labels, and sends specimens with the correct paperwork out of the procedure roomAssists scope team with removal of cleaned scopes as neededReprocessing and cleaning of equipmentSterilizing equipment after proceduresSkills & Qualifications:HS diploma or equivalent requiredCompletion of a medical assistant, endoscopy technician or surgical technician training program requiredExperience working in Gastroenterology or Internal Medicine clinicAt least one year of patient care or equipment maintenance experienceDemonstrates knowledge and skills to provide care, maintain clinical competency and meet patient population needs within clinicDetails:Entry Level1st shift M-F$18-20/hr, BOEAbout Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
