Selected Technical Apprentices participate in a CoiL Learning Center-designed LED training program for three (3) weeks. Apprentices learn through lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on practical scenarios with state-of-the-art technology guided by subject matter experts. Completionists will earn entry-level skills suitable for roles such as show technician, quality control technician, or engineering technician in the attended discipline. This is a paid temporary position lasting three (3) weeks. Once the training is completed, graduates are eligible to apply for relevant full-time or part-time jobs with LMG or EventEQ. Those outside of the Las Vegas, NV area are welcome to apply but will need to cover their own temporary airfare, lodging, and transportation for the duration of the technical training program if selected.

While there are no specific prerequisites for our technical trainings, we highly encourage candidates to have prior experience as an A/V stagehand and/or to have pursued education in a degree or certificate program related to the technology of the training program they are interested in.

Essential functions may include, but are not limited to:

Work with CoiL and LMG technical leadership to complete structured training and assigned tasks to develop skills expected of an entry level show technician position.Participate in demo scenarios to apply skills learned and increase optimization.Set up assigned equipment and systems, independently or under direction to implement lab guidelines.Set up, initiate, interface, tune and operate equipment and systems to ensure optimal operation and result.Communicate with other technical staff as required to diagnose and resolve set up or operating problems.Demonstrate equipment operation for client and respond to client requirements for changes in setup.Operate equipment to suit leadership requirements during course of mock events.

This apprenticeship will take place

December 2 - December 20, 2024 . The schedule for this position is 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. Screened applicants should expect at least one panel-style interview with the administrative team from CoiL and the technical team from LMG.

Base Salary:

$15.00 Actual base salary range may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to experience.
