www. solotech .comThe Video Specialist acts as the contact person within the department for all video support regarding the design, logistics, and execution of projects. The incumbent provides support to Solotech tours, corporate events, and supports Project Managers when designing systems.Your day will look like this:Act as Video technical expert on designs or for account reps quoting on events, RFP/RFQ submissions, tour bids, rider requestsPropose solutions adapted to client needs and fitting within the scope of Solotech inventoryPerform technical support to technicians on events/tours, local and international (trouble shooting) coordinators, technical advisors and all other Solotech partners (compatibility validation, availability or developing solutions for clients)Complete lists of preparations in the database (R2) with the coordinatorsOversee and consult with production technicians on preparation of events in the warehouseWork with team members in the department in implementation of new inventoryPerform integration, programming and configuration of the equipmentCollaborate with other departmentsMaintain relationship and communication with manufacturers and their technical support teamAny other related tasks, based on the department needsYour profile:High School Diploma or GEDMinimum three (3) years in the Live Events industry focused on videoStrong knowledge of the rental industry in the show business, entertainment and corporate environmentKnowledge of Office365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project, etc.)Knowledge of the system R2 (an asset)Ability to travel overnight occasionally during eventsAbility to solve complicated problemsThoroughness and attention to detailWell-developed organizational skillsDemonstrate ability to work well with clients (internal and external)Adapt to change easilyAbility to work independently and within a teamExperience in Forklift operationPhysical Requirements:This is not an all-inclusive list but is intended to give an overview of the requirements for this position.
