So, if you want to be challenged in an exciting and fast-paced environment, this is the place for you!The Role:We are looking for an experienced senior seller to join our team to take on a range of responsibilities, including regular interaction with our key clients to educate them on our sponsorship and activation offerings as well as build cohesive proposals to take out to market.This individual will have in-depth knowledge and understanding of the digital video media landscape as well as a solid understanding of sports media spending and budgets. They must also be an excellent communicator with strategic client support skills who can quickly navigate any situation to achieve desirable mutual outcomes. Ultimately, the Executive Director of Sales will work with leaders across our sales team and ancillary functions internally to ensure our organization hits our sales and revenue goals. Must have experience selling video offerings to top agencies and at the client/brand direct level. This position will report to the President / Head of Sales.We are looking for a seasoned media sales leader to help position the Stadium + Bally Live brands to advertisers and agencies with excitement and drive growth at a pivotal time in the company's lifecycle. Stadium + Bally Live is a fast-paced, high-growth organization and the ideal candidate should have experience developing a roster of B2C brand partners.This position is responsible for maximizing monetization of all Stadium and Bally Live media assets, by working with all necessary departments and affiliated partners. Media assets include all owned and operated Stadium and Bally Live digital platforms, Bally Big Bet Poker, linear FAST Channel units, and social channels (Twitter/X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snap, etc). Additional media assets for monetization include MiLB, AVP, PFL, and other live sports content assets.Responsibilities:Attain yearly sales goals and communicate progress to goals and strategies/tactics to reach revenue targets with ManagementProactively identify and call on decision makers to build sales opportunities and pipelineCall on decision makers in a consultative sales role and communicate the Stadium + Bally Live value propositionDevelop new clients and manage current clients with white-glove treatmentBuild strong, long-term mutually beneficial client relationships and maintain frequent contactWork directly with sales, marketing, social, and production development teams to develop viable sponsorship opportunities for partners on Stadium + Bally Live platformsManage all phases of the sales pipeline and recognize opportunities to drive revenueAddress client queries effectively and in a timely mannerMaintain accurate records including prospect list, sales call reports, expense reimbursement forms, billing invoices, assist in development of sales materials including, but not limited to: proposal decks, concept write-ups, RFP responses, and recap reportsContribute to pre-sales ideation process including client brand integration opportunitiesWork with cross-functional teams including sales, editorial, production, marketing, analytics, digital content, legal, finance, and other partner teamsKeep up with relevant sports and social media news, updates, tools, platforms, and best practicesIdentify and resolve issues across the marketing/sales and account management functionsStay well-connected with customers to ensure broad market needs are incorporated into the product development and enhancement cycleMaintain accurate and updated CRM dataWork closely with internal teams to ensure a united vision when corresponding with clientsAct as a role model and mentor to junior members of the teamQualifications:Driven, passionate, and an ultimate team playerMinimum 10 years’ experience in digital media, traditional media, ideally within mobile and streaming video5+ years sales experience with pre-existing media agency and client relationshipsProactive, positive, and detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and good follow-throughTalent at explaining complex topics in simple terms in person, over the phone, or video conferenceProficient in Microsoft Office programsAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with cross-functional teamsAbility to work independently and manage timelinesAbility to be organized and detail-oriented with professional presentation abilityAbility to deliver on a sales budget and is results-orientedExperience in Salesforce, HubSpot, or other CRM, a plus.Deep relationships at VP level and above contacts at top-tier agencies and advertisersDesire to work in a changing, fast-paced start-upBS/BA degree or equivalent work experienceStrong, senior-level contacts and relationships at both Client & Agency levelDeep understanding of the streaming video, connected TV, mobile media ecosystem, and branded content integration spaceProven track record of securing and growing revenueSuccessful internal and external relationship management at both executive and staff levelsExperience working in both entrepreneurial and established corporate culturesProven winner with a deep desire to close big deals and earn large commissionsRelationship-builder comfortable with a sales cycle of more than two monthsStrong objection handler, with ability to think on feetStrong prospecting, presentation, and relationship building experienceAbility to articulate a strong understanding of advertising campaign strategiesMasterful presentation and negotiation skills, both in-person and over the phoneAvailability for light travel and willingness to entertain clients on a regular basisSaying it again because it’s that important: Driven, passionate, and an ULTIMATE TEAM player – We Win TogetherWhat's in it for you:Competitive Salary with annual performance reviewsComprehensive health coverage plan that includes medical, dental, and vision401(K)/ Company MatchEmployee Stock Purchase PlanAccess Perks and Childcare discountsUncapped commission on all booked revenueMonthly and quarterly incentives/bonusesAnnual and semiannual incentives (Includes paid trips, spending cash, and/or additional PTO)Ability to pitch results-oriented solutions to the largest brands and their digital agenciesSalary Range:$160,000- $180,000 Annual Salary65% of salary as a commission bonus pool with an initial threshold needing to be met prior to taking part in the bonus poolPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
